These engines are stock on the Revo, T-Maxx, Jato, 4-Tec & others.
Certain models may require minor vehicle modifications for installation, regarding pipe hangers and exhaust deflection.

This is a pipe with MECHANICALLY (Spring & Piston) CONTROLLED internal pressure!!

After years of continuing research a 'Breakthrough Technology' emerges in a revolutionary exhaust system!!

Exhaust gases are controlled in an entirely different manner, resulting in HUGE performance gains over any exhaust on the market today!

In a dyno test of one Traxxas stock engine ... horsepower was increased by 22% ... with just a pipe!

The Vortice is a completely new design that simply meets all the engines needs, and allows the engine to maximize its performance through all three ranges. When bottom, mid- and top-end are performing at peak efficiency and consecutively, the power gains are off the charts, as you can see in the dyno chart below. The runs are using the same three pipes as in the airflow and pressure test.

HOW IT WORKS!!

In the idle position, the piston is held in by spring tension with the regulator port partially closed, causing the bulk of the gases to escape through the by-pass port.

As the engine speed increases, the piston moves towards the rear of the exhaust, compressing the spring and opening the regulator slot, allowing the maximum amount of gases to escape the system at mid-engine operation.

The engine speed continues to increase from the mid-range, while the piston continues to move towards the rear of the exhaust system. At this point, the piston closes off the regulator port, gradually restricting the gases to the point that no gases will escape through the regulator port, leaving only the by-pass port for gases to escape. The by-pass port is calibrated for top speed based on engine size, and is typically a smaller hole than a stock exhaust system.

The Vortice-BR is non-adjustable, and all that needs to be done is to simply install the silicone coupler, fuel vent line, and the end support, then you're ready to go. The Vortice has been designed to be leak-free and simple to install!!
